This is a full-time, on-site role in York, PA, for a Direct Support Professional. The role involves providing individualized support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring their day-to-day needs are met while promoting their independence and dignity. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks, promoting skill development, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive and respectful environment. Collaboration with team members, families, and other stakeholders is integral to the role.

• Experience or knowledge in Human Services or working with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and team members
• Effective Communication Skills, both verbal and written, to support clients and collaborate with others
• Ability to participate in and apply Training related to caregiving, safety, and client-specific needs
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to promoting the dignity and independence of individuals
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or experience in caregiving or special education is a plus
• Physical ability to support clients safely, including lifting and mobility assistance
