RN Supervisor

Full Time | Nights | NO WEEKENDS! | Pay rate up to $50 PLUS $2.50 Shift Premium

Per Diem/PRN | Pay rate is $48.35/hr PLUS Shift Premiums

What You Need as an RN Supervisor:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Registered Nurse).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
  • Two years recent experience in a long-term care environment including satisfactory experience in a leadership role.
  • Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • CPR certification required prior to or upon hire.

Our RN Supervisor is responsible for the following:

  • Assist with staff scheduling and help cover open shifts (including holidays) to maintain adequate staffing
  • Provide on-unit support, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Recognize and support staff performance; promote a positive team environment
  • Delegate responsibilities to charge nurses and step in during staffing shortages as needed
  • Partner with leadership and HR on recruitment, interviews, and hiring decisions
  • Support onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
  • Address employee concerns and implement corrective action when necessary
  • Support quality improvement and ensure compliance with care and documentation standards
  • Serve as Infection Preventionist and lead infection control initiatives and meetings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care and care planning
  • Communicate with providers and departments to ensure resident needs are met
  • Assist with state survey preparedness and regulatory compliance
