Per Diem/PRN | Pay rate is $48.35/hr PLUS Shift Premiums

What You Need as an RN Supervisor:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Registered Nurse).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
- Two years recent experience in a long-term care environment including satisfactory experience in a leadership role.
- Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long term care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- CPR certification required prior to or upon hire.
Our RN Supervisor is responsible for the following:
- Assist with staff scheduling and help cover open shifts (including holidays) to maintain adequate staffing
- Provide on-unit support, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Recognize and support staff performance; promote a positive team environment
- Delegate responsibilities to charge nurses and step in during staffing shortages as needed
- Partner with leadership and HR on recruitment, interviews, and hiring decisions
- Support onboarding, mentoring, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Address employee concerns and implement corrective action when necessary
- Support quality improvement and ensure compliance with care and documentation standards
- Serve as Infection Preventionist and lead infection control initiatives and meetings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care and care planning
- Communicate with providers and departments to ensure resident needs are met
- Assist with state survey preparedness and regulatory compliance
