About the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
The Registered Nurse Supervisor manages, supervises, and delivers quality nursing care ensuring the safety and well-being of MAHOVA’s Residents in a cost-effective manner, and recommends suggestions for continuous quality enhancements. Oversees appropriate staffing, compliance, and documentation for nursing staff. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Assures nursing staff are in compliance with requisite laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures through direct assessment and management.
- Assures appropriate staffing to meet Residents’ needs. Ensures that staff observes assigned Residents for significant changes in condition; receives reports of any significant changes and assures appropriate follow-up.
- Assures appropriate nursing department documentation and intra- and inter-departmental communication and collaboration through regular ongoing monitoring and follow-up as indicated.
- Supports and assists staff to succeed by orienting, evaluating, educating, coaching, and counseling.
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions; CPR certified
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two years directly related supervisory experience preferably in long term care or continuing care retirement community setting serving the elderly

Salary : $38 - $42
