The Masonic Child Care Center , located on the Masonic Care Community's campus, is looking for a Substitute Teacher who can help with daily center operation, which include engaging with children, kitchen duties, sanitizing, and enhance the learning environment for our diverse student population. The ideal candidate for this position must enjoy working hands-on with children, must understand developmentally appropriate practice and is dedicated to creating a safe nurturing learning
Per-Diem Early Childhood Substitute teacher Assistant (coverage in all classrooms; 6weeks - 12 years of age) ; hours vary.
Qualifications for the position- High school diploma required- Candidates with an A.A.S Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Child-related field preferred.
One year of specific experience and/or training in infant or toddler care preferred.
Candidate must 18 years old or older.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills.(with parents as well as staff)
Candidate must have a compassionate attitude. environment for every student.
The base rate for this position is $16.50 per hour commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education & prior accomplishments.
The position may be eligible for additional compensation not listed here, including but not limited to shift differentials, incentives or bonuses, as applicable.
