Lunch/Recess Aide

Position: Lunchroom Aide (We are looking to hire two candidates for this position.)

Building: Harvey Education Center / Mason Public Schools / In-Person

Reports to: Principal

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years old
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and students
• Positive attitude and rapport with teachers and students
• Excellent communication skills

Job Description:

• Responsible for supervising students during lunchtime
• Wiping tables
• Stacking chairs
• Playground supervision in Elementary Buildings

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
• The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.
• Work takes place both indoors and outdoors, with the possibility of some travel to other schools or field trip locations.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:30am-1:30pm, 2 hours per day, school year schedule of August to June annually.

Wage: $15.00 hourly
