In-House Property Maintenance Specialist – Headquarters Location: Columbus, OhioHourly: $20-25/HrSchedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMEmployment Type: Full-Time Position OverviewMason Equity Group is seeking a reliable, highly organized, and professional In-House Property Maintenance Specialist to oversee the daily interior and exterior maintenance operations of our 127,000 square foot, four-story Headquarters located in Columbus, Ohio.This role is solely dedicated to maintaining our corporate headquarters to the highest operational standards. The ideal candidate understands the importance of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in a corporate environment while ensuring the building remains clean, safe, fully functional, and well-maintained.There are opportunities for internal advancement and cross-collaboration with our Residential and Commercial Property Maintenance teams throughout the Columbus portfolio. Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding Maintenance & RepairsPerform routine maintenance and repairs throughout a 127,000 SF, 4-floor facilityAddress plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and minor mechanical issuesTroubleshoot and respond promptly to maintenance requestsConduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptionsCoordinate with vendors and contractors when specialized services are required Exterior & Grounds MaintenanceSnow removal and ice management during winter monthsMaintain walkways, entry points, and exterior groundsEnsure building exterior remains clean, safe, and presentableAssist with seasonal maintenance tasks Organization & OperationsMaintain organized maintenance logs and documentationMonitor building systems and report concerns proactivelyManage tools, supplies, and inventory efficientlyEnsure compliance with safety standards and building policies Professionalism & ConfidentialityMaintain strict confidentiality regarding internal operationsAlways present a professional appearance and demeanorWork respectfully within a corporate headquarters setting QualificationsPrior maintenance experience required (commercial or large facility preferred)Strong working knowledge of general building systems and repairsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyHighly organized and detail-orientedDependable with strong attendance and reliabilityPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetAbility to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor as neededValid driver’s license required Preferred ExperienceExperience maintaining multi-story commercial buildingsFamiliarity with preventative maintenance schedulingSnow removal equipment operation experienceBasic HVAC knowledge Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceMileage reimbursement for any required travelPaid time off, company holidays, and opportunities for advancementProfessional growth potential We are looking for someone who treats the building as their own — with care, accountability, and pride in maintaining a high standard.
