Required Skills:

• Class A CDL in good standing
• Clean driving record
• Experience driving semi-truck with a 48-53 foot trailer (1 years of experience)
• Basic computer knowledge for electronic dispatching system
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• MUST PASS AN EMPLOYMENT AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
• MUST PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING AND PASS RANDOMIZED DRUG SCREENINGS DURING EMPLOYMENT

Job description:

We are hiring a full time route driver (around 40 hours per week, more possible during our busy season from May to September). Our clients' stores require a variety of ways of unloading freight including (but not limited to): pallet jacks, two-wheel dollies, and rollers. There are dock and street stops, so dock unloading experience is great!

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Greet customers at the store level and provide excellent customer service
• Load and unload merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools
• Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
• Verify the correct amounts of high dollar merchandise for every store with a store associate
• Allocate merchandise to appropriate areas of the store for the customer
• Pick, box, pack and/or wrap merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards for transportation
• Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift, stock picker, reach truck, hand carts)
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs; maintain E-Logs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Job requirements and qualifications:
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Team player
• Ability to change tasks when/as needed.
• Ability to lift 20 to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs. or more with provided equipment.
• Able to maintain consistent work habits
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adhere to attendance policies
