Technical Accounting Manager
Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will oversee important accounting functions as well as accounting consultants who support day-to-day operations, presenting an opportunity to assist in the construction the accounting/finance functions at a fast-growing startup. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is excited to establish scalable processes and controls that will support the company’s next phase of growth
What You'll Do
- Review and oversee the day-to-day work of outside accounting consultants, ensuring deliverable accuracy and timeliness
- Author technical accounting memos and own the adoption of accounting standards
- Establish accounting policies and procedures around revenue, operating vs. sales-type leases, costs to originate/fulfill contracts, and software development costs
- Own the monthly and quarterly close processes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
