Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator - Sit down
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers efficiently.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated warehouse and production locations.
- Stage materials for production and shipping departments.
- Perform inventory movements and maintain accurate documentation.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements of the Forklift Operator - Sit down
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Experience in transporting raw materials and finished goods.
- Ability to conduct daily forklift inspections and report issues.
