Staffing Manager
Position Overview:
The Staffing Manager is expected to manage the day-to-day operations of assigned staffing functions. The position will provide wide-ranging support in a variety of recruitment areas, including, but not limited to, outreach to local agencies, posting job adverts, and onboarding and retaining staff.
The qualified individual should possess recruitment or staffing experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be well-accustomed to using Applicant Tracking Systems. The individual will have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to manage, interview, and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding cycles. A proven record of accomplishment of engaging with people with diverse backgrounds is required. The ideal candidate will have heavy recruiting experience, and high compliance with maintaining staffing requirements for optimal production schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned staffing functions.
- Engage with supervisors and plant management on recruitment needs and improve retention ratio.
- Ensure job requisitions are accurate with staffing needs.
- Participate as required in the recruitment process to find the candidate that best fits position requirements.
- Assist with strategic planning for recruiting and retention tactics.
- Convey the company’s culture, promoting as an employer of choice in the local area via advertising, social media, volunteering, and networking.
- Participate and assist in the onboarding process, creating a welcoming and informative atmosphere for orientation.
- Work with state and non-profit organizations, post on board, and coordinate recruitment events to maintain and build a talent pool.
- Maintain up-to-date applicant files and dispose of candidate data as appropriate.
- Produce reports as required.
- Provide general assistance to staff members in relation to questions and concerns that they may have.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field. SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is also preferred.
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of five years of staffing or recruitment experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
