Marketing Analyst – Investment Management (Hybrid, Boston)

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

About the Opportunity

A growing investment management firm is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join its Boston-based Marketing Team. This individual will play a key role in supporting marketing and sales initiatives across multiple business channels, including Institutional, Advisory, and Private Wealth. The Marketing Analyst will take ownership of essential marketing deliverables, manage RFPs and DDQs, maintain accuracy across marketing materials and data resources, and collaborate with senior team members to support communication and business development efforts. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to deepen their understanding of investment strategies and financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal & Content Management

  • Prepare, edit, and tailor RFPs, DDQs, and other written materials for consultants, advisors, and prospective or existing clients.
  • Oversee the full RFP/DDQ process—from intake to final submission—ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain and enhance the internal response library; coordinate subject-matter-expert reviews to ensure content accuracy.
  • Leverage AI tools or automation systems to improve content efficiency (experience a plus).

Data & Reporting Support

  • Compile, validate, and distribute performance, characteristics, personnel, and asset data on a monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
  • Maintain the firm’s profiles across third-party databases and due diligence platforms (e.g., eVestment, Diligence Vault).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with investment, sales, operations, compliance, and administrative teams to ensure marketing materials reflect current strategies and insights.
  • Support broader marketing initiatives related to brand consistency, process improvement, and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in financial services, ideally within institutional marketing, RFP management, or investor relations.
  • Communication: Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with experience translating complex investment concepts into clear and compelling language.
  • Organization: Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Seismic, eVestment, Omni, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Comfort working with quantitative data and identifying inconsistencies or insights.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build productive working relationships across teams and seniority levels.
  • Mindset: Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with investment terminology and financial markets preferred.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Join a highly collaborative and mission-driven investment management environment.
  • Work closely with experienced marketing and investment professionals across diverse distribution channels.
  • Opportunity to grow within a dynamic organization committed to professional development, teamwork, and a strong client-service ethos.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits designed to support long-term well-being and work/life balance.
