Position Summary:
Responsible for safely operating forklifts and performing a wide range of warehouse and general labor duties to support daily operations. Ensures efficient material handling, inventory accuracy, and a clean, organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport products to designated storage areas and maintain proper warehouse organization.
- Perform general labor tasks including packing, sorting, labeling, and palletizing products.
- Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including staging and verifying incoming/outgoing orders.
- Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate stock levels.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Support team members and supervisors with additional tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Basic math, communication, and teamwork skills.
