Position Overview
The Financial Planner / Associate Advisor will partner closely with senior advisors to support high-net-worth individuals and families with investment management and financial planning needs. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine desire to help clients achieve long-term financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Support
- Partner with senior advisors to help deliver customized investment and planning strategies aligned with each client’s goals and objectives
- Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a responsive point of contact for ongoing requests and questions
- Support client meetings through preparation, follow-up, and coordination of action items
- Help clients stay on track toward long-term financial goals
Planning & Advisory Support
- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans
- Prepare presentations and materials for prospective and existing clients
- Contribute to portfolio reviews, planning analyses, and investment research
- Continue building expertise in financial planning, sustainable investing, and advanced client strategies
Team Collaboration & Growth
- Maintain accurate client information within CRM and planning systems
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Participate in ongoing professional development and licensing/certification progress
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2–4 years of client-facing experience within wealth management, financial planning, or a related advisory environment
- Series 65 license at time of hire or ability to obtain shortly after joining
- CFP® or CFA® progress strongly preferred, or interest in pursuing certification
- Experience with CRM systems, investment platforms, and financial planning software preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
