Client Service Analyst

About the Opportunity
A well-established asset management and financial planning firm located outside of Boston is seeking a Client Service Analyst to join its growing team. This position plays an integral role in delivering exceptional client service and supporting all aspects of the firm’s operations, investment management, and planning functions.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in financial services who enjoys working directly with clients, managing complex data, and contributing to a collaborative, client-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive client reports, including net worth statements, investment analyses, and portfolio summaries using Principia and broker/dealer portfolio management software.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, assisting with day-to-day inquiries and ensuring a high-quality service experience.
- Manage account openings, transfers, cost basis reconciliation, and other account maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the Principal in portfolio monitoring, trade execution, cash flow management, and ad-hoc investment research.
- Coordinate service and operational needs across the advisory team, firm Principal, and broker/dealer partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial services, client service, or operations role.
- Working knowledge of financial planning and investment management principles.
- Strong understanding of investment strategies, tax planning, retirement, and estate planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Experience with CRM Wealthbox, Morningstar, InvestCloud, and Holistiplan (or similar systems) preferred.
