ABOUT THE ROLE:

Mashburn Delivery Service is looking for a reliable, safety-minded Forklift Driver to join our Nashville warehouse team. In this role you'll be at the center of our daily operations unloading inbound trucks, staging appliances for next-day deliveries, and making sure our Will Call customers walk away taken care of. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Safely unload inbound trucks each morning and verify products against delivery documentation

- Load outgoing shipments accurately and securely to prevent damage in transit

- Pull and stage appliances for next-day customer deliveries with accuracy and timeliness

- Coordinate with Warehouse Associates to keep staged products organized

- Assist Will Call customers by locating and retrieving their products for pickup

- Rotate stock per inventory management protocols and conduct routine inventory counts

- Perform daily forklift safety checks (brakes, horns, hydraulics) and report mechanical issues promptly

- Follow all safety regulations including safe driving speeds and load limits

- Attend required safety training sessions and maintain certifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- OSHA 300 and Forklift certification required

- Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment preferred

- Strong spatial awareness and ability to maneuver forklifts safely

- Solid organizational skills and attention to inventory accuracy

- Ability to follow safety protocols and warehouse procedures

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must be able to operate a forklift for extended periods

- Corrected vision to normal range; normal hearing required for verbal communication
