Under the direction of the Director of Pequot Agriculture LLC, the Business Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, operational, and business functions of Pequot Agriculture, LLC to ensure organizational efficiency, fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth.
Pequot Agriculture, LLC manages diversified agricultural operations including controlled-environment agriculture, produce distribution, community food access programs, grant-funded initiatives, and agricultural conservation projects. The Business Manager supports multiple farming operations, sales and distribution channels, contracts, state and federal grant programs, and community-based agricultural initiatives.
The incumbent will manage day-to-day business operations including purchasing, invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, financial reporting, budget monitoring, grant administration support, and operational analysis while assisting leadership in achieving revenue goals, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
