Location: Mashkawisen Treatment Center, Sawyer, MN 55780
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $17.00 /hr DOQ
Shift: Mornings, weekends required

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will work stable hours and make good food you can be proud of. You will work with clients, to the highest degree of confidentiality, providing the nourishment necessary for them to overcome challenges and move forward in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate food quantities to be cooked for a designated number of people to be served according to menus.
- Establish and maintain proper sanitary conditions in the kitchen and storerooms complying with all applicable state and federal sanitary codes and conditions.
- Ensure all personnel who assist in the kitchen observe proper habits in personal hygiene and have clean clothing.
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings.
- Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Training and/or experience preparing meals for groups of over 20 people or more preferred.
- Ability to work standing, lifting heavy pots and pans, and working near hot ovens and ranges.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be free from problematic substance use for at least 1 year.
