What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Masgay Restaurants?
Tine & Cellar is a culmination of rustic & satisfying flavors of the Old World with a vibrant & contemporary twist, paired with an extensive list of draft beers, fine wines, plus an exquisite craft cocktail selection. Individuals holding this title will be responsible for exceptional guest service via the direction of the General Manager. Employees in this position will be required (but not limited) to perform the tasks listed.
· Provide exceptional guest service
· Answer phone per restaurant needs and guidelines
· Greet guests at host stand in a prompt and welcoming manner
· Bus and set tables as needed
· Assist in taking and properly fulfilling reservations per restaurant needs
· Anticipate guest needs and address issues promptly
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
· Possess a fundamental industry knowledge
· Possess an understanding of food menu items
· Work professionally with fellow employees
· Maintain scheduling availability as agreed upon during the hiring process
· Show up on time to scheduled shifts, missing work only in the event of sickness or emergency (proper notice required when applicable)
· Perform side work as assigned by the Server Manager
· Perform additional tasks as instructed by any member of management
· Help fellow employees with any and all tasks as needed
Salary : $8 - $14
