Duties
- Engage with potential customers through outbound sales efforts, including cold calling and outreach to generate new leads and expand the sales pipeline.
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their needs and present suitable automotive options, including financing solutions and upselling additional features or services.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and maintaining ongoing communication via phone, email, or in person.
- Manage inventory control and support dealership operations by coordinating vehicle availability and assisting with vehicle demonstrations.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track client interactions, follow up on leads, and ensure seamless deal closing processes.
- Negotiate terms effectively with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while meeting high-end sales targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing retail sales of passenger cars and other automotive products while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive industry sales or retail sales roles, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated expertise in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, deal closing, and upselling techniques.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities—bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly valued for their client relationship building capabilities.
- Familiarity with automotive financing options, inventory management, CRM software, and outbound sales strategies such as cold calling.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a solid understanding of retail math and automotive industry standards for inventory control.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline from prospecting through deal closure while maintaining high levels of customer service and phone etiquette.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by leveraging organizational skills, public speaking abilities, and effective client communication to close deals confidently.
