Job Summary
Salary negotiable, dependent on experience.We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires experience with semi-tractor/trailer, rollback and pickup trucks w/trailer. A strong commitment to safety and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Drive various types of trucks,
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while delivering goods to designated locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Strong understanding of load unloading procedures and safety practices in truck driving.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
