Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform display handling tasks according to daily work plans and schedules, ensuring operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Support quality control processes by inspecting refurbished display systems to meet customer expectations and internal standards.
- Assist with the ordering process for display systems and help ensure on-time fulfillment by tracking orders and communicating updates to relevant teams.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Report any variances through system process for the Inventory Planner for further action.
- Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies by analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory aisles and pick locations.
- Perform replenishment activities to allow for efficient picking processes.
- Complete stock conversions/work orders to balance inventory levels.
- Top stock pick locations to reserve based on overflow of materials.
- Achieve stock maintenance through proper pallet/shelf standards and location/storage set-ups, for new and active materials.
- Correct any misplaced stock and communicate on root causes identified for further training opportunities.
- Transact submitted adjust inventory request forms, verifying them for completeness.
- Support in appropriate storage locations for received materials based on factors such as usage, item size, weight, and storage requirements, utilizing warehouse management systems or other tools as needed.
- Move materials/gaylords between designated storage locations, physically and systematically.
- Conduct assigned projects based on business needs related to materials and inventory management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing job responsibilities.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of previous experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing, or inventory management.
- Proficiency with computer systems and competence in standard office software, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices, with the ability to follow standard work and work instructions.
- Ability to become power industrial vehicle certified within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, reach, and crouch.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
