Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Work in close partnership with the Supervisor and Manager of Financial Reporting to guarantee adherence to company policies, US GAAP, and SEC requirements
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly 10-Qs, annual 10-Ks, and related analyses
- Prepare annual financial statements for defined-benefit and defined-contribution plans
- Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide necessary analysis and audit documentation
- Support both international and domestic locations on accounting and reporting issues
- Assist with complex U.S. GAAP areas, including employee benefits
- Handle daily and monthly General Ledger responsibilities
- Engage in special projects, including lean process improvements and HFM enhancements, along with ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Support implementation plans addressing new accounting developments
- BS/BA in Accounting and/or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly preferred
- 4 years of relevant work experience in accounting/finance
- Strong analytical skills with high competence in U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills
- Demonstrates professional excellence characterized by effective decision-making and a drive for results
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with a keen attention to detail
- Effective great teammate with a proven ability to handle confidential information and interact with senior financial management
