What are the responsibilities and job description for the Comptroller/ Construction Accountant position at Masci General Contractor, Inc.?
Masci is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Comptroller /Construction Accountant. Applicants should have 5-10 years’ experience in accounting as it relates to the construction industry. Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting is a plus. This position would be responsible for all AP/AR, job costing of labor and materials, bank reconciliations, commercial account reconciliations, production and maintenance of all financial statements, P&L Statements, Balance Sheets, and other miscellaneous financial reports. Must be familiar with AIA Pay Application preparation, review, and processing. Experience with bonding and insurance preferred.
Applicants must have a strong background in Sage Peachtree and should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. In addition to the responsibilities above, the Construction Accountant may be asked to perform Ad-Hoc accounting/reporting tasks on occasion.
