What are the responsibilities and job description for the District Chef Needed for School Food Service position at Maschio's Food Service?
District Chef needed for school food service program in the Fair Lawn, NJ area. Monday through Friday, full time 6:30am to 2:30 pm. Some occasional nights and weekends are required for special functions.
Chef experience is is required. Must be willing to submit to a chef test. Traveling throughout the district is required. Able to work in a fast pace team environment.
Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.
- Must have experience in catering, and satellite preparation.
- Culinary, K-12 experience preferred.
- Some training of staff may be required.
- Creating different menus items while adhering to school food service guideline NSLP.
- ServSafe® certification is required.
