The Role
Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms at an advanced level, with deep expertise in complex pediatric cardiac anatomy, congenital defects, and surgical corrections and coordinate directly with off-site cardiologists to ensure expedient, effective care. Minimal supervision required.

Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms at an advanced level, with deep expertise in complex pediatric cardiac anatomy, congenital defects, and surgical corrections and coordinate directly with off-site cardiologists to ensure expedient, effective care. Minimal supervision required.
What You'll Do
- Perform 2-D, M-mode, and Doppler (color, pulse, continuous wave) echocardiograms per adult and pediatric lab protocols
- Demonstrate and document pediatric congenital abnormalities and complex defects
- Assist physicians during TEE procedures; clean and disinfect probes per policy
- Perform stress echocardiograms (exercise and pharmacological)
- Prepare and, once trained/approved, independently administer contrast agents (including venipuncture)
- Document all studies accurately in CareNet and departmental logs
- Support the lab's PI process: data collection, case reviews, and ICAEL guideline compliance
- Help orient and train new staff; serve as a role model for non-registered team members
- Accredited CVT or echocardiography program, OR an Associate's in natural science, OR 10 years' experience as a Registered Echo Sonographer
- Active registration: RDMS, RDCS, or RCS
