Cohan Structures Inc. is the licensed California general contracting company responsible for site work, foundation, and installation for all Masaya Homes projects.
Scope of WorkThe Construction Manager is responsible for executing all field operations for assigned projects. This role leads crews, manages jobsite performance, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. The Construction Manager works in close coordination with the Construction Project Manager to deliver projects according to the established plan and schedule.
- Oversee daily operations for assigned projects, ensuring work is executed according to plan
- Lead site supervisors, crews, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and accountability
- Conduct daily crew huddles and ongoing site coordination
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient jobsites
- Execute work in alignment with the project schedule
- Ensure daily and weekly production goals are met
- Maintain consistent progress and momentum in the field
- Communicate immediately if schedule risks arise

- Direct and support field teams in daily work execution
- Set clear expectations for performance and quality
- Hold team members accountable for output and behavior
- Support development of field staff and future leaders
- Ensure all work meets company standards and project requirements

- Enforce company safety standards and jobsite compliance
- Promote a safe working environment for all team members
- Address unsafe conditions immediately
- Review upcoming work with the Project Manager
- Confirm crew, tools, and site conditions are ready
- Identify constraints before work begins
- Provide input on sequencing and field feasibility
- Resolve day-to-day jobsite challenges
- Keep work moving despite obstacles
- Escalate larger issues to the Project Manager early
- Ensure materials are used correctly and efficiently
- Communicate material needs to the Project Manager
- Support coordination with Procurement for delivery timing
