What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECM Clinical Consultant - Lancaster position at Masada?
The Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Services Clinical Consultant ensures the quality of services provided by the ECM Services Program addressing the clinical and non- clinical circumstances of high- need members. The ECM Clinical Consultant provides consultation to ECM Lead Care Managers and direct clinical services to ECM participants as needed. The Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Services Clinical Consultant is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as a significant practitioner in the successful integration of treatment for clients. The position reports directly to the ECM Program Manager.
1. CONSULTATION: Provides consultation for ECM Lead Care Managers. Ensures that ECM
strategies and services are whole- person centered, linguistically, and culturally appropriate.
2. INTAKE, ASSESSMENT AND CARE PLANNING: Collaborates with the Lead Care Manager
during the initial intake, assessment, and care planning process. Provides guidance and
support to ensure patient-focused, individual plans of care that are person-centered, and
strength based in partnership with the member and other providers.
3. SAFETY: Guides Lead Care Managers in steps to ensure the Member’s safety and provides
immediate consultation and guidance for any situations needing escalation of care.
4. COLLABORATION: Regularly collaborates with Masada Staff, clients, caregivers and
supports, extended family and friends, other members of the clinical team in a manner that
will empower the child/family.
5. OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT: Performs outreach and engagement activities to reach
participants who are under- resourced and/ or underserved.
6. DIRECT SERVICES: Mental health assessments and short term therapy may be provided for
clients in high need prior to linkage to ongoing mental health services.
7. DOCUMENTATION: Submits thorough documentation including initial assessment, progress
notes and notations, treatment plans, and monthly reports demonstrating frequent
collaborations with treatment team members.
8. PRODUCTIVITY: Maintains productivity standards and completes timely documentation of
all contacts with clients as set forth by agency internal policies.
9. MEETINGS: Attends and actively participates in meetings, individual and group supervision,
case presentations, and in-service training and conferences as required and scheduled.
10. KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrates a sound understanding and use of clinical theory,
interventions, and treatment concepts. Demonstrates a sound knowledge of resources and
ability to make appropriate referrals.
11. STRENGTH BASED: Is capable of accurately identifying and building on the strengths of
clients to better reach their potential.
12. RESPECT: Demonstrates respect for the intrinsic value of each person, their individual
differences and culture.
13. CONFIDENTIALITY: Maintains strict confidentiality over all records and information related
to clients.
14.TRAVEL: Travels independently to various environments as needed (buildings with stairs,
various communities, schools, etc.).
15. OTHER: Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
1. Valid California license as a LCSW, MFT, PhD, or PsyD.
2. Work experience in a comparable mental health setting.
3. Valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the
duties of the position.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
