Responsibilities include positioning patients, delivering ionizing radiation per oncologist’s instructions, providing patient care, educating patients on procedures and radiation reactions, developing treatment plans, observing safety measures, and documenting treatments accurately.
Qualifications: current ARRT (T) licensure, BLS certification within 14 days, understanding of radiation therapy techniques and physics, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records.
