What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child and Family Specialist - Gardena position at Masada Community Mental Health Services?
The CFS/RS is responsible for providing Rehab and Case management services to assigned clients and families and functions as a member of the Child and Family Team (CFT). A CFS/RS is expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion in providing for the safety, permanency, and well-being of the clients. CFS-RS staff must complete all training requirements per DMH contract within the first year of employment. The CFS/RS reports directly to the Team or Clinical Supervisor.

DUTIES:
- CASE MANAGEMENT: Provides general case management services (resource
- SUPPORT SERVICES: Provides support services and skills training to clients and families
- CLIENT INTEREST: Stimulates client’s interests in various clinical offerings. Monitors
- INTERVENTIONS: Understands and can implement behavioral modification principles
- PRODUCTIVITY: Meets all productivity requirements and completes all necessary
policies.
- COLLABORATION: Regularly collaborates with Masada Staff, clients, caregivers and
- SUPERVISION: Meets regularly with supervisor to review cases and communicates
- PROFESSIONALISM: Interfaces professionally and appropriately with other agency staff
- MEETINGS: Attends staff meetings, in-service training and conferences as required.
- CONFIDENTIALITY: Maintains strict confidentiality over all records and information
- BOUNDARIES: Establishes positive, respectful and nurturing relationships with clients
