Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, managing shift workflows, and ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
- Lead food preparation and kitchen activities, ensuring quality control and efficient food production aligned with menu specifications.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Train and develop team members on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures to foster a skilled and motivated staff.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal supplies for smooth service.
- Supervise food service management tasks including supervising servers, managing reservations, and coordinating catering or banquet events when applicable.
- Enforce compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all restaurant functions.
- Assist in budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production, labor, and supplies while maximizing profitability.
- Support hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members to build a strong workforce.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within casual dining or fine dining settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and food industry standards.
- Experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams in hospitality settings.
- Previous roles involving restaurant management, catering operations, or hotel food service are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle shift management efficiently while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
