Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. Saturday 7 am to 3 pm, Sunday, 7 am - 7 pm and Monday, 3 pm to 11 pm. A total of 28 hours. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within designated areas.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of individuals until professional help arrives.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious activities.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and security protocols is essential.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
