What You’ll Do:
As an Entry-Level Machinist, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to learn how to operate Brown and Sharpe screw machines and manual equipment. You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- How to sharpen drills and form tools
- Inspecting parts for accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following production schedules and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in working with your hands
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior shop or trade experience is a plus, but not required
