Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of concrete forms and setting up rebar structures for pouring operations
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, troweling, and edging to achieve desired surface quality
- Install rebar and metal stud framing according to schematics and blueprints for structural integrity
- Apply caulking, stucco, plastering, and trim carpentry techniques during renovation or restoration projects
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute concrete forming, masonry, and flooring installation tasks
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials in various construction settings
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual labor as needed to support construction site activities
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all phases of work on the construction site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including heavy machinery), and construction techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring processes, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety gear on construction sites
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing manual labor tasks
- Prior experience with renovation or restoration projects is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment
