Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing environment. Duties
- Assembly of products using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and quality.
- Safely move materials and inventory within the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
- Support the setup and organization of the assembly line to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock replenishment, and shipping/receiving activities.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while upholding safety regulations.
- Must have experience with power tools and able to work without supervision.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools is essential; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety standards.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks reliably.
