Field Engineer:
Join MAS Building & Bridge as a Field Engineer in our Heavy Civil Construction Division. Play a vital role in project planning and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. This position offers a dynamic blend of office and field tasks, providing valuable hands-on experience in diverse Heavy Civil projects including bridge, rail, marine, utility and roadway construction.
Responsibilities:
Daily interaction with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Craft personnel to support planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management.
Review of Plans and Specifications to ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
Site inspections for quality, safety, and daily work progress and cost coding.
Preparation of required submittals, RFI’s, payment requests, and Change Orders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Previous internship in heavy civil construction is preferred, but not required.
