ComForCare in Maryville, TN is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide high-quality in-home support to our valued clients.
About the Role
If you have a passion for caring for others with at least one year of experience working with the elderly or in a homecare setting, we want you on our team We are looking for individuals who can provide essential support, companionship, and assistance, making a real difference in the lives of those we serve. Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy towards clients are essential qualities for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Offer meaningful companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Help clients adhere to their schedule with medication reminders.
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals.
- Run occasional errands (like grocery shopping and Doctor appointments).
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and empathy towards clients are essential qualities for this role.
- Experience: Approx. 1 year of professional experience in home care or senior care.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Transportation: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are a must.
- Compliance: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Bonus: Current CPR Certification is a plus
Compensation: $ $18.00 per hour
