What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Technician position at Marysville Toyota?
We are Marysville Toyota, and we pride ourselves on delivering a phenomenal customer experience for our guests every time they visit our store. We are looking for the right individuals to join our Express Maintenance Team. This candidate will work on our Toyota Express Team in the service department and assist us with maintaining an elite level of customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role and we are looking for someone is is ready to start their career in the automotive industry and grow with a young and rapidly growing dealership. This is a great palce to begin your career and we offer training to those individuals that want to advance through our training progam to become a Toyota Master Certified Technician.
Responsibility
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE certifications and previous auto technician experience preferred
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner, and a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
