What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Paraprofessional position at Marysville Public School District?
Marysville Public Schools is accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year.
Hours/Time/Calendar/Pay: On call as needed/$13.73 per hour/Work hours follow regular school day schedule
Effective: As needed
Reports to: Building Principal
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Non-violent Crisis Prevention (CPI) training preferred
- Ability to work well with adults and students and take direction from numerous supervisors
- Possess good communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be physically fit to perform required job tasks, including but not limited to physical management of inappropriate behavior
Job Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction by assisting the teacher with lessons, activities, and student supervision.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed.
- Assist with student needs including academic support, behavior guidance, and personal care when necessary.
