We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems in residential and commercial settings.
*Responsibilities*
- Install and program alarm systems according to blueprints and schematics
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of alarm systems
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty alarm systems
- Educate customers on the proper operation of their alarm systems
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements
- Complete service orders and paperwork accurately and timely
*Qualifications*
- Prior experience in construction inspection or related field
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems is required
- Familiarity with alarm system sales and installations
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Experience in field service or as a service technician
- Competency in using a voltmeter for electrical diagnostics
