The Managing Director of Production services directs and oversees the high-level business, operational, and financial strategies required to execute production. This position provides the infrastructure and resources necessary to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Position Duties:
- Allocate studio space, equipment, staff and freelance talent pools to ensure multiple projects run concurrently and efficiently
- Develop and implement overarching department budgets, forecasting spending, and managing payroll and client billing
- Supervising production crews, technical directors, and production facility managers and handle contracts
- Designing, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and digital systems to maximize productivity, operational efficiency output and quality
