Montpelier Arts Center is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our customer service team. General office management duties include but are not limited to; opening and closing the facility, answering phones, greeting and assisting patrons, assisting resident artists, sales, balancing cash register, setting up equipment for classes and meetings, and other duties as assigned. Individuals with experience in the visual arts and/or marketing a plus but not required. Facility is open 7 days a week with daytime and evening shifts available. Must be able to bend and lift up to 30 pounds. General computer skills necessary and the ability to learn sales processing software.

Minimum Qualifications
- 1 year(s) experience
- Knowledge of visual arts.
- Microsoft word and excel
- Office filling
- Strength and dexterity to help set up for events
- Ability to lift up 30 lbs

Work hours
- Hours may vary depending on need, can work up to 28 hours per week. Hours average 15-25 hours per week.
- Indoor office environment. Long periods of sitting with intervals of moving and lifting marketing materials or setting up for events.
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check.
