Job Description

Maryland Management Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor for one of our apartment communities. This position is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring the property is maintained to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff
• Complete and oversee work orders and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Oversee apartment turnovers and move-out inspections
• Coordinate vendor and contractor work
• Maintain inventory, tools, and maintenance shop organization
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally

Qualifications

• Prior apartment maintenance experience required
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Valid CFC certification required
• Reliable transportation and personal hand tools required
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation
