Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Landfill Operation Manager within our Environmental Operations Group.This position is responsible for the overall management and coordination of day-to-day operations at Maryland Environmental Service's two Subtitle D landfills, Midshore I and Midshore II, as well as two co-located homeowner drop-off facilities. Estimated Pay Range: $80,901.39 - $111,239.22 Benefits: Health Insurance with choice of medical plan and prescription, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance options, along with flexible spending accounts 401K retirement savings program with generous agency match Paid vacation, personal and sick leave Ten paid holidays per year Tuition assistance Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field, plus 6 years of solid waste landfill management experience, and valid SWANA MOLO (Manager of Landfill Operations) certification. Note: Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above at the rate of one year of experience to one year of education, for up to four years of the required education.
