Job Description: Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Equipment Operator at the Prince Georges County Organics Composting Facility located in Upper Marlboro, MD. This position provides equipment operation services for MES clients at field locations. Estimated Pay Range: $55,256.40 - $69,698.42 Benefits: Health Insurance with choice of medical plan and prescription, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance options, along with flexible spending accounts 401K retirement savings program with generous agency match Paid vacation, personal and sick leave Ten paid holidays per year Tuition assistance Minimum Requirements: Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus five years of experience operating heavy equipment. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. Preferred Qualifications include: Minimum of three years experience operating and maintaining wheeled loaders, excavators and horizontal grinders.
