Role Description
The Network Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD. The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily management, deployment, and maintenance of the department's network infrastructure. Key tasks include monitoring and troubleshooting network performance, ensuring robust network security, designing and implementing network enhancements, and collaborating with team members to meet organizational IT goals. The role requires adherence to departmental policies and a strong commitment to maintaining secure and efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Network Administration and Networking
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting networking issues effectively
- Experience in implementing and maintaining Network Security measures
- Proficiency in Network Design and supporting the development of robust infrastructure
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network are a plus
