Virginia Title Center, LLC, a title insurance agency striving to provide its customers with superior services, is currently seeking an experienced Settlement Processor to join our team.
As a Settlement team member, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the settlement process while communicating value and maximizing the customer experience. You will perform all aspects of the settlement process, including collecting and producing all closing and escrow documents.
Position Responsibilities:
- Open settlement files.
- Serve as the main point of contact, responsible for coordinating with all parties involved in the settlement process.
- Review title abstracts and commitments for title issues and perform curative work as needed.
- Educate new homebuyers on the importance of Owner’s Title Insurance.
- Order payoffs and homeowner’s insurance.
- Prepare preliminary title packages and send them to the lender.
- Coordinate with Lender to finalize the settlement statement & complete the closing documents.
- Have deed prepared and prepare internal closing documents for settlement.
- Schedule closings with all parties.
- Conduct closings as needed and appropriate.
- Set up wires.
- Coordinate recordings.
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a settlement processor or real estate paralegal is required.

Pay: $50,000 based on experience
