Maryknoll Sisters of St. Dominic, Inc., seeks talented, dedicated and experienced individuals to join our staff. We are a congregation of Catholic religious sisters who serve as missionaries around the world and across the United States. We began in 1912, when we became the first group of Catholic sisters in the United States founded for overseas mission. Today, we have approximately 245 sisters serving in 19 places around the world and throughout the United States, including at our Center House in Ossining, N.Y. Role and Responsibilities (Writing Portfolio Will Be Required)
As part of the Communications team, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting communications and public relations strategy, as well as maintaining and advancing Maryknoll Sisters’ internal and external communication efforts and outreach initiatives. This position also will be responsible for content creation across print and digital outlets, reaching out to the media and strengthening our digital presence via the web and social media.
A strong skill set in writing, editing and content creation, as well as an appreciation and understanding for the work of the Maryknoll Sisters is required. In addition, this position provides an essential support role for long-term communication and public relations goals and objectives. The Communications Coordinator will have a passion for connecting with audiences both new and familiar with Maryknoll.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
B.A. in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field from an accredited institution required.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
