Maryhill Winery is seeking a positive, hardworking, and team-oriented individual to join our Vancouver Tasting Room team as a Tasting Room Utility Ambassador & Dishwasher. This position is responsible for supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout the tasting room and kitchen areas while assisting with guest experience and daily operational needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and tasting room
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting guest areas
- Support culinary and tasting room staff during busy service periods
- Restock supplies, glassware, and service items as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with guests
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support winery operations
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
