We're looking for a caring, dependable, patient person who enjoys working with children ages 3–5 and understands that every child learns differently.
HOURS
Monday-Thursday 8:30am-1:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
- Foster a safe, engaging, and positive classroom environment
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
- Provide patient, individualized support for diverse learning styles and needs
- Assist with transitions, outdoor play, meals, and daily activities
- Communicate professionally with staff and families
QUALIFICATIONS
- 15 hours of Early Childhood Education coursework (preferred; not required)
- Oregon Registry Step 5 or higher for teacher applicants (preferred; not required)
- Bilingual (preferred; not required)
- Experience working with children ages 3–5 (required)
- Patient, compassionate, flexible — comfortable supporting diverse developmental & behavioral needs (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain required)
- Able to pass Oregon Central Background Registry requirements (required)
- Reliable transportation and two professional references (required)
