What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Support Specialist position at Mary T Inc.?
The Community Support Specialist works one-on-one with individuals with disabilities providing support and coordination for activities of daily living such as: community participation, hobbies and recreational activities, banking and budgeting support, vocational training and searches, health safety and wellness, household management, and adaptive living skills. The CSP helps their clients maintain independence and participate in the community to the fullest extent possible (this is NOT a residential group home position).
- $17.00 - $21.00 Per Hour (depending on experience)
- Mileage Reimbursement
- Daily Pay Option
- Paid Training (no experience needed)
- $1000 Employee Referral Bonus
- Location: Princeton / Zimmerman area
Schedule: Part time hours (20-25 hours per week) available.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
- The ability to pass a background check through the MN Dept. of Human Services, as well as a motor vehicle record check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be comfortable and confident working independently without direct supervision
